Win No. 104 is almost certainly his last.

Goalie Steve Masons tenure in Philadelphia appears over. In a long list of goalies to come through town, the pending free agent has been one of few who have stuck. The 104 wins as a Flyer puts him third on the franchises all-time list.

The only two shots that beat him Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team with which he started his career, both deflected. Twice.

A 4-2 Flyers win was Masons 200th overall in his career. He notched No. 100 in the last game of the Flyers season in 2013, the year he arrived in Philly.

Coach Dave Hakstol said after Fridays practice he would not expect Mason to play Sundays finale against the Carolina Hurricanes so hell likely take in his last game in a Flyers uniform from the bench with Anthony Stolarz in goal.

It goes by quick, Mason said about his career. Ive been fortunate enough to play with a lot of teammates that I consider friends. Two hundred wins is a team stat. The goaltender position has that own record, but this potentially being the last game for myself and beating a former team to have that be win No. 200, thats special.

He made 20 saves and, assuming Saturdays game is his last, finishes the season with a 2.66 goals-against average and .908 save percentage. Heading into Saturday nights games, Masons 1,413 saves this season was 18th in the league.

He played in 58 games this season and had to overcome a dreadful first two months of the season when he allowed nearly three goals per game and had a sub-.900 save percentage.
